Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 16, 2026
This policy explains how Playucator handles information when you use the free, no-account classroom game generator or contact us.
What we process
Playucator processes the information you enter to create a game, such as subject, topic, grade range, learning goal, class preferences, and output language. Do not enter student names, health information, or other sensitive personal data.
Why we process it
Generation inputs are used to create the requested classroom game, protect the service from misuse, diagnose failures, and improve reliability. Contact details and messages are used only to answer your request.
AI processing
Generation inputs are sent to our AI provider to produce the requested content. AI output can contain mistakes, so teachers must review every game before classroom use.
Technical and security data
Our hosting and security systems may process IP address, request time, browser information, error details, and rate-limit identifiers. This data is used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
Analytics
Google Analytics is loaded only after you accept analytics cookies. We use it to understand page visits, interface clicks, generation outcomes, and downloads. We do not intentionally send free-text lesson topics or learning goals to Analytics.
Storage
Generation job status and the completed ZIP are kept temporarily in our distributed job store for up to 30 minutes. Your browser also keeps the downloaded game summary and ZIP for the finish screen. Contact messages and limited service logs may be retained only as long as reasonably needed for support, security, and legal obligations.
Service providers
We use service providers for hosting, AI generation, rate limiting, contact delivery, and optional analytics. They process data only to provide their respective services and under their own applicable terms and privacy commitments.
Children and student data
Playucator is a teacher-facing tool and is not intended for students to submit personal data. Teachers and schools are responsible for avoiding student-identifying or sensitive information in generation inputs.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal data. You can reject analytics in the consent banner or reopen Analytics settings in the footer.
Security and international processing
We use reasonable technical safeguards, including encrypted connections, restricted inputs, security headers, and abuse controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Providers may process data in countries different from yours with applicable safeguards.
